Welcome

Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church has been a powerful spiritual influence in the Turbeville, South Carolina community for over 145 years. With a meager beginning of 12 charter members in 1859 to an attendance of around 200 today, the church has grown and touched the lives of many people, young and old alike.

It is our supreme desire to minister to the families of our own church family and to reach out to the community to those who do not know the Lord. We feel that we certainly have something spiritually to offer to any age group at our church. From the nursery to the oldest adult class, the teaching and training arms of our church are very active with some of the finest teachers anywhere. Our youth and music programs are second to none. God has given us some very talented people in our church who are willing to be used of God.

We have a strong emphasis on the preaching and teaching of the word of God, not only here at home but also on the mission fields around the world. We believe that the Bible is truth and that God speaks to us through His word. The ideas and philosophies of man are not really important, but what God says is essential to live a life that is pleasing to Him. A warm "Welcome" awaits anyone who comes our way.
